How've you been? i hope you're fine
The many times i've said this line
Waiting for the day you'll be mine
This emotion, i find hard to define.

I don't know what you have heard,
but i hope those words haven left you hurt.
Ask me honestly and i will not lie
For you are one girl that has brought a tear to my eye.

Though the bright skies have turned so grey,
I'll be on my knees continuing to pray
for i'll be waiting for they day
where it'll be like it was, yesterday.

I've made my mistakes, i don't deny.
